I think most people brush off vegetarianism as a phase. I can honestly say that I can’t imagine ever eating meat again. It’s like I’ve trained my brain to see meat for what it really is: dead animals. I love animals more than I like people, and I wouldn’t eat people…not even if they tasted better than tofu.

I found this ad in a 1963 issue of Car Craft magazine. Stanley Mouse and his creations (old and new) are inspiring to me as an artist and I wanted to show some love.
I’ve been bothered by this idea that eating meat is “manly” for quite some time now, and I felt the need to make a general statement in regards to it. It’s been quite a popular trend as of late, and it really rubs me the wrong way because in my opinion, it’s quite an arbitrary definition.
